Joyce Ann Sadler Morgan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joyce Ann Sadler Morgan, 76, of Gloucester, entered her Heavenly home to a glorious celebration welcomed by missed loved ones and already there grandbabies on Saturday, May 14th, 2022. Joy was known for her red hair, singing with the Houston Opera as a teenager, owning the first Choose and Cut Christmas Tree Farm in the state of Texas, and being a strong and faithful Christian woman. Mostly, she will be remembered for being a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother (Gabby/Baggie), her most treasured role in life. Her gentleness and kindness were bestowed upon all who entered her presence. Joy would say her greatest accomplishment was in creating a family legacy of Godliness. One young woman changed the future of generations to come with her decision to love Jesus. She raised her 4 children in church and shared her faith with everyone her whole adult life. Her husband came to know Jesus through her and her children and grandchildren know how to pray and fight faithfully because of her strong belief. Joy is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Sidney Morgan, father Ishmael “Billy” Sadler, and mother Virginia Sadler. She is survived by her loving children, Michelle Morgan Hall & John of Gloucester VA, Gina Morgan Weesner & Chad of Georgetown TX, Heather Morgan Kohltfarber and Ray of Gloucester VA and Brent Morgan and Jessi of Kila MT, her grandchildren Tyler Weesner of Pflugerville TX, Kyle and Kassiddy Weesner of Andrews TX, Jayden Haddock of Canton TX, Jessi Hall of Gloucester VA and Samantha and Colton Morgan of Kila MT along with four great-grandchildren. She leaves behind many who loved her. A special thanks to Joy's caregivers at Gloucester House for your wonderful care and for surrounding our precious mom with love and friendship. Services will be private- under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home and Crematory.
