Kane Wolfe Podish entered into the world on Sunday, December 26, 2021 to his parents Thomas and Madison Podish at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, VA. On Thursday February 10, 2022 Kane left their home and moved to his heavenly home and there he will reside with all the Angels. Our hearts are broken but we know where he is. His mom and dad referred to him as Mr. Man because the day he was born, he reminded them of a little Thomas. He was the missing piece of their hearts that they had not realized they were missing. He filled their lives with laughter and smiles. His favorite moments were being cuddled up on his daddy’s chest and nuzzled into his mother’s breast. He always had a face of concern, like he knew what they were saying but didn’t know how to respond. He was strong and whenever he had the chance was raising his head to try to look at his mom and dad’s faces. Though they didn’t get to see his smile long, it was what brought his mom and dad the most joy. He truly made their hearts full. Kane loved looking out the window at the new wide world around him, or even just the fan blades seemed really cool. He loved hanging out with his Grandma while his mom and dad went grocery shopping and snuggling up to his Grandpa in the garage while watching football. Kane was a perfect baby through and through. His mom knows that he would have had his daddy’s eyes and his dimples even though they never got to see them. Kane made everyone smile who he met, and he’ll be missed by all those who love him, although no one more than his mommy and daddy. Kane is survived by his parents, Thomas and Madison Podish; his fur siblings Bear and Kira; his paternal grandparents Ed and Debra, Betty; his maternal grandparents Tina and Johnny, John and Beth as well as many extended family members and loved ones. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday February 16, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hogg Funeral Home. Additional services will be private.
