Teresa Adams Kelley

October 11, 1956 - October 18, 2021

On Monday, October 18, 2021, Teresa Adams Kelley died at Riverside Convalescent Center in Mathews, following a long pulmonary illness and complications due to multiple sclerosis. Born on October 11, 1956, to John and JoElla Adams at Ft. Eustis in Newport News, she was one of three children. As a daughter of a career Army officer, it seems Teresa's life was always on the move. Virginia, Alaska, the Azores, and Arkansas were all places she called home for a season. But her roots were always with her family over the years. She graduated from Denbigh High School and worked in a variety of administrative and clerical positions. She was passionate and loyal, and she loved to catch up with friends, bake something delicious, or look after her beloved pets. Teresa is survived by her son, Chris Larson (Jennifer), her daughter Ashley Jo Zepeda. She was loved as "Mamaw" to six grandchildren, Christopher, Elinore, William, Samuel, Margaret Larson, and Charlotte JoElla Zepeda. She was the cherished aunt to Kaylin and Colby Adams and sister to her brothers John Javan Adams, Jr. and William W. Adams (Katy). A funeral service officiated by Reverend Bud Goude will be held in the chapel of Hogg Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 23, 2021, followed by burial in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
